5th 6th Grade Camp Thursday

5th 6th Grade Camp Thursday 2012

We are in the process of ending the last full day of this camp session. This morning in chapel Neal spoke to the campers about endurance in our Christian journey. How at times we would be challenged and need to rely on God to carry us. He spoke about the race in Hebrews 12. He talked about how sin can entangle us and slow us down on our journey, but if we keep our eyes upon Jesus we will endure.

During free time many cabins chose as their activity to fill water balloons in anticipation of the big water balloon fight tonight. A famous 5th and 6th grade tradition at the woods. Last night the "lou crew" challenged the rest of the camp to a battle this evening. Ironically chapel this evening was about persevering through distractions. The upcoming battle became a great example.

The day ended with the epic battle!
